New York musician Rob Schwimmer will perform with Red {an orchestra} at the Cleveland Tri-C Metro Campus Auditorium on April 2, 2003. Schwimmer will play theremin along with Carla McElhaney (piano) and under the direction of Jonathan Sheffer, artistic director and conductor of Cleveland based Red {an orchestra}.
The program will move from the concert hall to Hollywood, including the first performance since 1939 of a work introduced by the Cleveland Orchestra and will include:
Martinu: Fantasy for Theremin, Oboe, Piano and Strings
Schillinger: First Airphonic Suite
Rozsa: “Spellbound” Concerto
Zappa: G-Spot Tornado
Wilson: Good Vibrations
